Hi, I’m Lindsey.

The idea of running my own coffee shop/bakery has been my own sort of ‘Paper Moon,’ a childhood dream I’ve returned to year after year since my grandma first taught me how to roll a kolache. After years of trial and error, dreamin’ and schemin’, I’ve finally opened the doors to this one-woman bakery on May 21st, 2022.

I want everyone who walks through the doors of this bakery to feel instantly at home, comforted by the nostalgia of vintage charm and historic recipes. In this world of quick access and instant gratification, plenty of things have lost their meaning. But Paper Moon strives to put the love back into food experiences using long standing family recipes and simple, wholesome ingredients. The menu features air roasted coffee by The Coffee Roaster, cinnamon rolls, cakes, kolaches, and rotating baked goods made with local, seasonal ingredients. Gluten-friendly and dairy free options are also available. The storefront will be open on Saturdays to start, and I hope to expand the hours based on community engagement. In the future, I hope to broaden the menu to include ‘Paper Lunches’ which will feature a soup of the day, sandwiches, a homemade side, and cookie for dessert.

Until then, the storefront is finally ready to welcome guests on Saturday mornings, and I cannot wait to share this experience with you all! Thanks for your unending support, and I’ll see you soon! :)
